Meet the Staff


Dr. F. Noel Parent, III
Vein Center Medical Director
Dr. Parent received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA. in 1989, after completing his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Parent is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both general surgery and vascular surgery. He is currently an assistant professor of surgery at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine.

Dr. Parent's interests include the management and treatment of varicose veins using minimally invasive treatment techniques. He has co-authored and published numerous vascular disease and vascular surgery articles. Dr. Parent has a special interest in the surgical and medical treatment of complex and cosmetic venous problems with 17 years experience in sclerotherapy and venous surgery.

Dr. Parent is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, a registered vascular technologist (RVT), and serves on a number of hospital advisory boards and committees.

Dr. Parent has admitting privileges at all of the hospitals in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake.

C. Scott McEnroe, MD, FACS
Dr. McEnroe received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and finished his general surgery residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. He completed his Vascular Research Fellowship and Clinical Vascular Fellowship at Tufts, New England Medical Center, in Boston, Massachusetts,

Dr. McEnroe joined Vascular & Transplant Specialist in 1989. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General and Vascular Surgery, is also certified in Hyperbaric Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. McEnroe has special interest in venous disorders and was a recipient of the Sigvaris Award for his contributions in venous research. Dr. McEnroe founded the Vein Center of Virginia 18 years ago and has since focused on the surgical, medical, and cosmetic treatment of all types of venous problems.

Linda C. Furlough, RN
Vein Center Supervisor
A true “local”, Linda grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated from Princess Anne High School. She earned her nursing diploma from Norfolk General Hospital School of Professional Nursing. Over the past 22 years, Linda’s clinical responsibilities have included in-patient cardiovascular nursing care, circulating nurse for a suite of vascular surgery operating rooms, head nurse for a cardiovascular intensive care unit, and head nurse for a suite of 15 operating rooms at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Linda currently serves as Vascular & Transplant Specialists' nursing supervisor. She holds a certificate of achievement for PhotoDerm system operations and works closely with Dr. Noel Parent to ensure that each Vein Center patient receives the care she or he expects. She has over five years of experience with sclerotherapy.

Linda resides in Chesapeake with her husband and sons. She enjoys boating and entertaining at home when she isn't shopping for new shoes.

Luree A. Salisbury, MSN, CRNA
Clinical Coordinator
In 1992 Luree received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During the next two years Luree gained valuable experience caring for critically ill patients as an ICU nurse at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.  In 1996 she graduated with a master's degree in nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and began practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Luree's wide range of experience, intensive education, and technical skills serves her well as a Clinical Coordinator with The Vein Center.  

She holds a certificate of achievement for PhotoDerm system operations and works closely with Dr. Noel Parent to ensure that each Vein Center patient receives the care she or he expects. She has over five years experience with sclerotherapy and photoderm.

In addition to her responsibilities with The Vein Center, Luree continues to practice anesthesia in various hospitals and plastic surgery offices throughout Hampton Roads. She remains active in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Luree lives with her husband Henry Holt and her two step-children in Virginia Beach. She enjoys regular exercise, scuba diving, sailing, photography, and painting.

Patti E. Holt, RN
Clinical Coordinator
Patti is a Virginia native and has lived in the Hampton Roads area all her life. She received her nursing diploma from Riverside Hospital in 1978 and has worked in Intensive Care and Coronary Care. She was also involved in the formation of one of the Peninsula's first non-invasive vascular labs. Recently she functioned as the circulating nurse for a plastic surgeon, and she is interested in anti-aging, cosmetic procedures. Under the direction of Dr. Parent, Patti has mastered vein injection techniques and enjoys helping her patients look and feel their best.

Patti loves the sun and enjoys it every chance she gets at her home in Chick's Beach. She earned her MFA in creative writing and writes short stories and poems. She also likes to exercise, cook, and draw.
